Re: PR 0.6 Soon?
I can't download it, when I click on the link that says torrent, it takes me to glory houndz.com. does the title client(full) mean I can't download it anymore?

The gloryhoundz page has the link to the torrent.

Re: PR 0.6 Soon?
If you have a torrent program installed, it should recognize the link automatically..

Re: PR 0.6 Soon?
Make sure you seed. The point for this soft launch is to get seeders for the official launch. Well at least I believe.

Within Tactical Gamer, ANY activity that capitalizes on the limitations of a game to provide the advantage rather than that advantage coming from superior teamwork, strategy and tactics, is frowned upon. We all want to win when we play, but the focus at Tactical Gamer should be one of winning with some sort of dignity, honor, and skill, not because you were able to out-exploit the other team or box them into a corner built on technological weakness that gives you the advantage.

Re: PR 0.6 Soon?
You have to recognize your bandwith as 1-2Mbs (or whatever it is for you).

Re: PR 0.6 Soon?
I suggested using Azureus or uTorrent as bittorrent client. They both work very well.
Regarding download speed, torrent download usually start (very) slow. After some time, speed starts to kick up exponentially. Download is usually kept proportional to upload. So when you have little data to upload to other clients, download will naturally be slow. Be patient.
You also may have some configuration problems if speed stays low. Azureus can help you configure the client for better speeds. You may be behind a router. Redirecting the Bittorrent listen port may help improve speed. Finally, your ISP may be one of those that limits torrent transfert due to it's common use for illegal transfert (sad thing it affects the intended use of bittorrent like this release of PR).
EDIT: silly forum doesn't want me to post links :P
So just google for Azureus or uTorrent. First hit should be the right one.
