just come out and say it Ger, you hate terrorists and chinese people!
Same here. Helmand is the best map ever to practice squad movement and fireteams. Sunset is just a nice map all round imo.

**Love the 2x Al basra idea.** If it is done, the map order could be calculated so that you get to play each side if you stay on the server.

It will be great to try some .5 maps now with the .6 game.

Yeah, I played Ejod for the first time today, and it was soooo loved. We, USMC won 16-0. No balencing issues

Oh, and now the flanks to the city are open to tanks and apcs. Interesting. I used these flanks for a final assult with my squad

    My least favorites in order:
    Bi Ming
    Kashan
    Al Kufrah

If we play those the fewest amount of times, I'm ok with that. It would be awesome to play Gulf of Oman and Zatar Wetlands again.

I always crash to desktop at the "Collisions" part of the load bar for "Bi Ming". So I would say get rid of that one.

It will crash if it's the first map you're trying to load. Load another map and then load Bi Ming.

I'm glad to see Hamyong back on the rotation...I've been missing that map sorely!

And Oman, also. Good to have the old maps back.

    Re: Map Rotation

Give a try to all the maps please, they have ALL been tweaked since v0.5 quite dramatically, and with the new gameplay (commander assets, etc) it plays out very differently...

the maps I would NOT include are:

    Raid on Moskyie
    Street
    Desert Storm

all other maps I would put on rotation at least once...

    Re: Map Rotation

We'll give all of the maps some good playtime so we can see how each plays out. After initial releases it always takes time to get acquainted and develop strategies.

yup this map sucks they are 1 sided and there is no fun to keep playing old maps in a new mod.

if they can remake a map i will vote for karkand or jalalabad, off course with some changes in flag positions and more ways to flank the enemy.

    ...Karkand huh?

Yeahhhhh. LETS NOT. We all can admit to playing 24/7 Karkand servers, so if you want karkand, go to those.

Karkand was hardly a notable urban map anyway, compared to what the PR devs are already making

    Re: Map Rotation

Why get rid of Bi Ming its the epitome of tactical play. And they revised somehow not sure b/c i havent played it yet. I heard they fixed the NV so you could see better.

I'd like to see it stay.

I hope you guys have played all these maps in 0.609 before you past judgement b/c many have been revised from .0607 rc1

Like Al Kufrah has had a large change to the terrain. Just South west of USMC main there was a cannon that MEC used to use to go through and base rape the USMC at the end (from the west)if USMC is losing. These canyon walls have now been made EXTREMELY steep making this nearly impossible.

    Map Rotation:

    Qwai River
    Sunset City
    Jabal
    7 Gates
    Ejod
    Kashan Desert
    Assault on Mestia
    Operation Phoenix
    Al Kufrah Oilfeild
    Operation Ghost Train
    Road To Kyongan
    Helmand Province
    Hills of Hamgyong
    Al Fallujah Region
    Bi Ming

Al Basarh will be added to the list later.

    Not Included for now:

    Daqing Oil Field
    Gulf of Oman
    Zatar Wetlands

Sounds good especially with the last 3 added but wont the server crash before the rotation ever gets through them.
Im not trying to be negative there just I think theres some sort of problem with long maplists.

Karkland is a silly idea (too compact and just unsuitable) and unfortunately jalalabad too. I'd like to try them sometime anyway along with the 3 bad maps named by fuzz just as an experiment but maybe thats a case for a spare server somewhere.

Theres something unique about charting unexplored terrority that a more familar map cant provide so variety is important I think

We played Qwai yesterday and Irontaxi said the bleed was wrong, chinese down to their last base should be bleeding. Adjustable?

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.
