Don't ask me
Well. my computer blew up the other day.
It sparked, popped and smoke came pouring out of it.
Got the new machine today and am starting to install all my apps again.
Anyone know how to do all the installs and updates for PR without having to go through all the downloads again? After the BF2 program is installed can i just copy stuff across?
Anyway just to prove my addiction to gaming.
Dell XPS 2.3 gig dual
Nvidia 8800 ultra 768 MB
2 gigs ram
No more lag for this puppy
I'll try coping the program across and let you all know how it went.

Re: Don't ask me
unless you have the technical knowledge with bf2 to be able to copy the proper registry data out of your old windows registry and into your new one, then no, theres no alternative. best bet is to just start the torrent running when you go to bed and wake up finito.

Did the hard drive fry along with the rest of the system? If not, you can just hitch that puppy up (internally or externally) and use the install files then copy over your config files.

Re: Don't ask me
While you are shelling out all this cash on that nice system, you should spend 100 more. The best 100 bucks I spent was on a WD external USB drive I think its like 140GB. Throw allllllllllll your install files, music, pictures and other non-program files onto that. That will keep your system drive uncluttered and your computer running fast like its always freshly formatted.
