    Anyway, if Kashan is in rotation it should be in the 32P version only. Although that as of .6 there are many gameplay issues that arent map specific that make both versions play badly. Best option is to just get rid of the map completely.
    Not if you leave out the frogfoot and a10. The Mig with its little ammo is almost worthless against ground targets, one strafe and your off to your airfield to rearm, and the f16's not much better. There's plenty of room for both aircraft and ground units on a map to have their fun.

    It would be interesting to see no CAS aircraft on the 64 player version, or perhaps add another jet so the CAS aircraft have a harder time flying around unchecked...

    If it's an AIR map the choppers/jets should respawn faster or there should be more in total in the map, even if the game has to be scaled down since it's a max of 32v32.

    Maybe you guys should add some of the maps you took out again, hell, I really wana try that night map (bi ming) in a large server, the only thing is that people always get pissed at night maps because their comp sucks, they shouldn't complain if there is an easy solution, if they don't have enough money GO GET A JOB. I think it would benefit the community to add in some of the removed maps again and give those maps a fresh start again. You never know, it might grow on people and it would switch around the map list and keep people interested in the server.

    Just don't wanna see more maps go, there 's only about 3 maps on the server that have no gameplay issues.

    I enjoyed Bi Ming the few rounds I played on it during the beta, it 's a great map and a great change in gameplay, which is what the server needs. Most maps in 0.6 are vehicle based and have only a minor role for infantry but I think they left it out because people CTD when it 's the first map they play.

    To be fair if there is a crash the admin often advance the map back to where it was before so its unfair to say otherwise.
    We tried to play pheonix the other day for example and it crashed within 5 minutes whereas the server has been a bit more reliable then that recently so its not really something worth complaining about.

    If Kashan lasts 3 hours without crashing then its one of the most reliable maps we have and that alone could account for why its played so much.


    Im all for faster respawns but some penalty for loss must be served by the team/player. Its probably not possible but what would be fairer would be respawn the vehicle in 5 mins or less and the player who flew it is barred from planes or vehicles alltogether for 30 mins+


    If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.

    Wow someone is feeling very sociable today... And by the way the map was removed for causing CTD I believe, regardless of what comp you have. If it wasn't for people with mediocre rigs being able to play, there would be no PR community here.

    I crashed every single time i tried to load bi ming, and i can run bf2 in highest everything, so its not people's computers every time something goes wrong, although it would be nice to occasionally see old maps (although it crashed after a while we tried basrah a few nights ago, and while it lasted it was great!)

    Wierd, I've gone into bi ming in create local dozens of times without ever having problems, maybe it's cause in a normal server it's causing things to happen.

    Maybe you guys should try Basrah X-tract mode, it might be nice to play something that isn't AAS2 every now and then, maybe it's the weapon caches to destroy that cause crashing on that map, I'm no computer expert but just a guess.
