    Re: camera on jets

Well i have seen it where you can use it on some servers and not on others. So i am pretty sure its a server side setting. Because the PR tournament server does not allow it but another server i was playing on before hand practicing did allow it. both 0.6 servers.

Just like the amount of machine gun rounds you get. In TG you only get like 150 rounds which i think is too few seeing as the A2A missles blow i only use guns(and its better for sneaking up on guys). In other servers it is nearly 500 rounds.

Could an admin verify this. Guns and rear view?

Hehe, looks like its my turn to have some fun.

Mig-29 has a GSh-30-1 auto cannon with 150 rounds with hit other jets HARD. The 30 in the middle denotes 30mm ammo by the way.

F-16 has 511 rounds of 20mm ammo in a M61 Gatling cannon. Fast ROF but still pack a sizable punch.

In short, its not a TG setting.

Ive never heard of the rear view camera for the jets being server side variable???

these are the ONLY vehicles to have a different camera position though....

Thats why they have Radar. Radar seems like something possibly capable of being put in the game?

radar = minimap. The enemy are all using stealth technology so your'll need local intel on them

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.

with radar(dont quote me on this or anything), i think you will always get a "ping" back but the size of that ping will vary with the airplane if they use 5up4 1337 st34lth t3chn0l0gy

True, but correct me if I'm wrong: I remember hearing somewhere that the radar cross section of a B-2 bomber is about the size of a hummingbird, which is very impressive considering that a B-2 is huge. Now thats some 5up4 1337 st34lth t3chn0l0gy, if you ask me.

mig29s and f16s DONT have stealh tecnology , so the back camera represent the view of your radar .

I was joking about the stealth technology, whatever works best in/with the game - Im not a fan of the ultra realism argument if it adds nothing or isnt feasible

So I take it that the rear view won't be added back.
