Yea it was, my LAVs were constantly being ambushed by the TF21 guys, they once set an ambush up on us at our repair station w/ 1 BTR after we took a LAT hit. We came around the corner and the LAV that was hit by the LAT was destroyed by the BTR, I enganged him w/ my LAV, hit his rear armor w/ about 20 rounds, his side armor w/ about 9, and his frontal armor w/ about 10 but the dang thing wouldn't die. He ended up killing my LAV as well after shooting our frontal and side armor. But all in all we held out and managed to have a 8 LAV loss (between the 2 LAVs) to a 12-15 BTR kill plus a few infantry.

Hard fought round and the frustration of having to fight the BTR's was telling. We need to rethink that matchup in my opinion as the BTR's get chewed for lunch 9 times out of 10 unless we can shoot and scoot before you get a bead on us (like the time we were solo and tagged both of you). I miss the old matchup where it was pretty much 50/50 depending on who got the first shots in.

Yea its rough man, and I agree... I prefer the 50/50 whoever gets first shot method as well, makes it based more on skill then just "I have a stronger vehicle then you." But the BTRs, if used correctly can own hard core. Today I had a BTR squad, ended up having 6k team points, 31 kills from BTR alone and never lost it, and Namebot and ZaBoos' BTR had 20 kills and only lost it once from the Cobra.

I have no idea how we won that round. KDR at one point was 3 - mid 20's from unchallenged armor advances.

That was not the cobra, I killed you guys twice with a HAT

Ah, yea we were confused whether one of the hits was a Cobra or a HAT. But you only got one kill on us

the other did hit, but Namebot and ZaBoo made it back to base on fire... from North City, was epic lol. Here's a pic of their epicness:

Some fun with a chopper on Op Archer. Not entirely sure why but the helo landed and the pilot got out with us standing in front. He got back in when we started firing, but didn't last long.

Much fun was had playing around with it before it blew up

That was a pilot who created his own 1 man pilot squad to fly hueys. I don't know why he landed there to begin with, but I guess he got shot, exited the chopper and tried to find safety.......don't really understand why, but I saw it from up above with my SAW, and might have taken you out paintscratcher or a buddy of yours after you took this SS.
