Re: PR screenshot caption thread
What is up with that 2047 score... I 've seen rounds where 5 out of 6 people in my squad had this score, while everyone had a different role. Seems like the score sometimes gets stuck at 2047 for a while before it goes up.

Re: PR screenshot caption thread

Yesterday me and my squad felt like making a tree house instead of fighting.

I think the game does stop at 2047 points, I was stuck at 2047 for a good bit of time last night.

Re: PR screenshot caption thread
Yea... I never judge squads/individuals via scoreboard. Imo scoreboard doesn't evaluate what a squad/person did correctly (i.e. a forward attacking squad waiting at a forward control point while the other squads fight for the ones in the back, defending squads, ect.)

Re: PR screenshot caption thread
The server was starting to get empty so we made the most out of it by organising a knife fight at Sunset City with 10+ participants. There should be a video coming or at least better screenshots.

(And Maverick-916 is a excellent squad leader. )

A super old picture from what must be .75 or .7 and notice two of us still have 2047 scores. Also you can see how old this is by lookin at the tags beside my name.

That was a good round for me in my Tunguska. 0.75, maybe like April or May

Re: PR screenshot caption thread
Which is really arbitrary, considering it's not even signed. I wonder what the other 2-5 bits are used for (assuming they're sending the info in standard byte sizes; it's entirely possible they send an 11+1(parity) bit byte, but that'd be more than a bit(lol) unconventional)
Also, here's my reasoning for why it's correct in the final scoreboard: EA ran some beta testing with less limited scores being transmitted ingame, but realized that sending larger amounts of information was making it hard/impossible to play on el cheapo DSL, and so limited it. At the loading screen, you can obviously focus more bandwidth towards transmitting the stats, so they went ahead and allowed that. Also remember that, in Vanilla bf2, a score over 2047, or, indeed, a score over 1000, is hard to get.
