Wonder if you have to go the extra step of banging the Type 97 grenade against your helmet to prime it?
Seriously, though, the Japanese infantry weapons were awful, just awful. The Nambu? The Woodpecker?
Wonder if the modders really go for realism and make those weapons misfire and jam as often as they did. That would make for a truly frustrating video gaming experience...yikes...
The type 92 HMG (Woodpecker) used stripper clips that could be linked together as opposed to being box or belt fed. Here's a vid showing it in action. The 92 starts about 1:20 in. In game I would think these would be the fixed guns. Your MG team would probably get a 96 or 99 LMG to run around with.
I hope a Western Europe expansion is in the works. I need my M1 Garand and Lee Enfield.

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
