    AAR March 22nd Stalingrad

This was the only map I got to play last night. I really like this map too so it worked out nicely when I joined the server.

Allied: Overall I believe we won 2 out of the 3 rounds played on this map, all of them being pretty close and desperate towards the end. The server was full so there was alot of new names in there I didn't recognize, which typically means the teamwork might not be where we would normally want it, but there were some really good moments and some of the new names I saw I would love to see come back. Nice job by the Axis side in the Assembly warehouse. That defense was nearly impenetrable at times. Strag would get in the north side of it with an MG and just mow anyone down that came near it. He was usually supported by a couple of marksmen in there, peaking out through cracks in the doors. Strag, I bet we killed each other 15 times apiece over the course of the night. We were crossing paths ALOT

I liked having the server unlocked and getting it filled up. As long as there's a strong TG presence there we should do our best to lead the action and get everyone involved. Kudos to FriedFish for giving the Allies some direction last night. I barked some orders every now and then but probably most of it unintelligible grumbling

That was definitely one of the more intense maps I've experienced in RO so far. I believe the last round came down to Llyranor and another guy trying to hold out because we (Axis) had run out of reinforcements. Eventually the Red hordes were able to capture the last objective and win. Very good rounds.

Fault, yeah, we just kept trading shots over and over during that map. I don't know what it was, but we just seemed to be operating in the same areas almost constantly. It made for some amazing action.

Wow! I've never seen that happen on the TG server yet![/quote]

When Axis gets low on reinforcements it should fall back and just try to hold 1 or 2 points. Continued counter attack might have been caused by pubbies on the axis side, I'm not sure I was allies. One of the draw backs of pubbies, but I guess it's the price you pay to have a full server.

This is an area in which we can offer them enlightenment.

Usually someone just has to speak up and tell everyone to back up and take up defensive positions. When I play I usually monitor the reinforcements and if we are below 25% with five minutes left I ask everyone to fall back and hold the remaining objectives. That usually does the trick.
