    RO is coming out and that means the Admins will have thier hands full and..

    that means dont complain!!! Its going to hard to keep up with allowing SM's into the game if there is not script. Its going to be hard to kick people for acting like idiots when people are jumping onto different servers to test out the game. We (including myself) need to give the admins and break and should try to help out in any way possible.

    Remember how battlefield was without the SM kick script. I wasn't an admin, but it must have been a pain manually kicking people to make room and then on top of that warning people/kicking them.
    Lets not get angry when we have bunnyhoppers (is this possible?), tkers, and smacktards. It will take some time for players and admins to get accustomed to the game.

    With that said..lets go out there and have some fun!!

    well put drunken. We will have our hands full, and we will do all we can to help make it a good week. We are working on some first week ideas, and trying think of all the problems in that first week.

    We should all take the time to help the uninitiated along and allow the admins to focus on their responsibilities.

    Also, be prepared for the influx of newbies that randomly happen upon us.

    Let's all make a point to show everyone the TG way, and see how many new friends we can add to the mix.

    Please note that we've been reading these forums a lot to get an idea of what members would like, and we've also been discussing what sorts of server settings will work best initially to provide everyone a good experience as you learn the game. If things don't feel right, we'll adjust accordingly. Please provide feedback here in the Red Orchestra forums.

    Apo will be setting up the Red Orchestra servers. When he's ready and we have IP addresses for the servers, they will be posted here in the Red Orchestra forums. We're almost there!

    I'm sure our server will be packed to the gills tomorrow and I most likely won't be home until later in the evening. I'll be sad if I have to find a public server...

    Drunk,

    No bunnyhopping in RO. You have a picture of your "body" in the lower left corner of the screen. If you take damage, that area will appear red (like when you fall a few feet and break both legs...). The stamina is a "chalk outline" of your body, starting with your feet and working up to your head. Once it reaches your head, you start gasping for air (a fabulous sound effect, btw) and can neither sprint nor jump. I'm pretty sure if you jump it immediately takes away all stamina, as any time I've ever tried to jump something I start huffing and puffing and can't jump again for a while.

    You can jump to prone, but not repeatedly, so no dolphin diving.

    Well said. Everyone in this community has given the admin team a lot of support since the announcement of the game. We have listened to a lot of what everyone has been saying from the people that just read the forums to the ones that have tested the beta. A lot of information has been given and received. Your admin team has listened to each and every one of you. When the game is launched and TG is up and running it is going to take all of us, working together as a team to make this into what the community wants in a game. We will need AA R's from you folks to tell us how we are doing as admins and how the game is for you. We are here to support you as we hope you are here to support us.

    Without TG-quality admins, this community would never be able to provide the experience it can with the awesome crew of overseers it has. Thanks for running the show so well. You have my full support for sure.

    If the server gets packed with non-SM's and there is enough demand from SM's tonight maybe we should password a server, just for the night?

    Just thinking of ways to get TG playing with TG tonight on what's sure to be a high demand game on release.
