Re: How many TGer's have this?

I have it, and I love it.. By far, one of the best FPS games available.. It just lacks the organization tools of BF2. Keeping a squad together to work as a team is a nightmare in RO. But the feel of the game is spot on.. The controls feel completely like an extension of your body.. From the way the soldier moves about, leaning on walls, resting a rifle on a ledge, deploying a machinegun on a sandbag, leaning around corners, etc..

I have been thinking of getting this one but the steam thing keeps holding me off. Now, I admit I don't know much about steam and need to research it but I do not feel comfortable with "having to have certain" game software installed in order to play a game.

You always have to install game software to play a game

Okay, if it's browser based and you don't count Java/Shockwave, then you're clear. Or if it runs off a CD.

Buying it as we speak (just because it is just 5 bucks this weekend in Steam. Man I love steam). I really hope that I can do some teamworking in this game like I do in BF2142.

I have it and I play it sometimes. So if you feel like playing it and see me on Steam send me a message.

Yeah, I got it like a week ago and it is an awesome game (so realistic it even bothers you. lol). BUt yeah, the organization tool sucks (if there is even one). They should so make a BF-like tool in this game. If they do, I might even stop playing bf 2142.

EDIT: What's your ID Hunter? Is it Hunter? lol

Re: How many TGer's have this?

It should be either "eirikurbjorn" or "|TG| Hunter".
I agree that this game needs some organization tools. And the ability to vault over things like in COD. Otherwise it's pretty close to perfection in terms of realism.
Who knows, maybe there will be a Red Orchestra 2.

Hopefully. Maybe someone will make a mod that does that (if such a thing is possible).

I really do not want to stop playing this game because of Chaos.
