Scoreboard
Thoughts on disabling the scores and enemy team classes? Once the game has ended, the scores will become visible but the enemy team classes will remain hidden.
Let me know what you think - or any other type of information you'd like to see or have hidden. It is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9/NIV

Re: Scoreboard
Yes, I think scores and enemy team classes should be hidden (scores until the end, at least, like you said).
I also think the number of enemy reinforcements should be hidden.
Would it be possible to display players' names alphabetically?

Re: Scoreboard
I'd like to see the scoreboard disabled, but please keep the reinforcment percentage up. Also, what happens when a team runs out of reinforcments?
p.s. how do reinforcments work?

Re: Scoreboard
Strag, what's your reason for wanting to not show reinforcement levels? If we wanted to not show it, I'd disable the scoreboard completely until the game was over (which would take two seconds), however I think a lot of players like to see reinforcements. Commanders use this data to be able to tell their troops to fall back, etc... As far as realism is concerned, I think it'd be something that they'd have a general idea of where they stood. I could always have it display a percentage +/- 10% of the actually reinforcement number just to get funky.

Re: Scoreboard
Reinforcements are just the number of respawns a team has available. When a team runs out of reinforcements, it can't spawn any more players.

I believe that only ENEMY reinforcements should not be shown on the scoreboard. I think friendly reinforcements should be shown. I don't think in WWII a faction had the best idea of the enemy's available forces. Just look at the Battle of the Bulge as an example. But, generally, a faction would have a good idea of its own strength levels.

Re: Scoreboard
Okay, I misunderstood. Thought you meant both, your teams and the enemies, shouldn't be shown. This isn't on the coding table yet, just drawing up idea and thoughts.I believe that only ENEMY reinforcements should not be shown on the scoreboard. I think friendly reinforcements should be shown. Re: Scoreboard
I'm all for scores being hidden until the end. Same goes for enemy classes/reinforcements.
