Am I missing something or am I just disappearing?
I got this game like a week ago and I still do not know how everything works so:
I don't get it, this has happened several times. I'm simply playing, walking around and then, all of a sudden, it stops, I simply disappear and the whole "press this to follow someone else, press space to go back to you, etc..."
So, am I missing something or is it a bug?
Another thing I saw was this one time I was prone and something started to hit me in the torso. Was that a hack? In a scale from WarRock to Battlefield 2142, where does RO stand in terms of hackers?Steam ID: DieFinsternis

To me it just sounds like you're getting killed. It can be really hard to see where you are being shot at from and it's usually a one-hit-kill game unless you get lucky. Some servers have a realism mod that disables spectating so as soon as you die the screen goes black, and I mean like the instant you're hit.
