    You can also find your steamid in the steam.log file. This is what the little steamid finder program does.

    By default, it is found here: C:\Program Files\Steam\steam.log

    Look for a line like this:
    Did not find an existing connection, attempting new connection 0,xx.xx.xx.xx:27030 for 0:1:1234987

    The number on the end is your steamid.

    Ancient thread bump but I found this link from google and figured better late than never.

    You can find more information about steam ids here: http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamID. In fact you can even calculate it by hand.

    However, since that's more work than simply going in game..I made this site: http://steamidfinder.com

    Feedback is much appreciated.
