    RO Gameplay Tips

Hey, here's what I figured out so far:

    - You will spend a lot of type crouching... So set your crouch key (typically C) to "Toggle Crouch" instead of "Crouch"

    - You can run while crouching (sorta), it is easier to do if you use the tip above

    - Never fire standing up unless you are against a wall or something to rest your arm on, this is way to imprecise in RO. Either crouch or go prone

    - When firing a rifle in the crouch position, make sure you lower your weapon before you rearm it. This will give you extra protection (since your head is also lower), and mobility in case of danger (such as an incoming grenade).

    - When firing a rifle in the prone position, stay with the iron sights while rearming it. No benefit of lowering your weapon first in that case.

    - When firing from behind covers (this should be most of the time), 2 sequences:

When crouching behind covers: lean - iron sights up - fire - iron sights down - lean back - rearm / reload. The reason while I lean first (and then iron sights up), is that it keeps your head low longer. You pop up while leaning, which minimizes your exposure.

When standing close to a wall / rest surface: iron sights up - lean - fire - lean back - iron sights down - rearm / reload

These seemed to be the most effective for me this morning.

    My 2 cents, cheers

i actually mapped "toggle crouch" to my space-bar... unlike BF2, hopping isn't necessary (or helpful) in this game... if you can't just walk over something, you probably can't hop over it either (since unlike bf2, you can't jump 2m straight up in the air )
