Re: Infantry AT Weapons - Experience so far.
Hi all, first post.

I have actually succesfully engaged and destroyed tanks from upwards of 80 meters with the Panzerfaust, just needs practice and using the "80" sight.
Judging distance can be a pain, but with practice and real life measures(half a football field, for example) you can get a good approximation. For example, one time I destroyed a tank from 800m, with just 2 shots(both hit, guy didn't even have time to see me let alone aim at me or set up sights and fire 2 rounds for range calculation then fire 1 shot to hit me and that could miss, possibly another 2 shots to impair or destroy me). That was most exquisite.
Oh and you guys need to get with the program and throw the imperial system to the garbage, it's comparable to using Roman numerals for everyday life, can you imagine having to write a memo and be like "John, I need the reports number XVIII and XXXIV..."

Yes, the Panzerfaust seems to require a bit of practice to gauge how far it goes. The only thing sweeter than watching someone's Panzerfaust fall short of your tank is hitting an enemy with one.

Yeah, thats totally true. And I don't get how people judge distances in meters or feet or whatever. I just see how big the tank is and make a guess from there.
