Server crashes to main menu

Every 10-20 minutes, in a game that is otherwise running smoothly, I get kicked out to the main menu (not the server menu). There is a thread about this in the Red Orchestra official website forum, but no one seems to know if (a) there's a fix, or (b) any developer is working on the problem.

The folks there seem to think it might have something to do with a Linksys router, which I am using as well.

Any thoughts?

My system:

AMD Athlon 64 3000+
1 Gig RAM
128 MB Radeon 9800
Windows XP

first let me welcome you to TG, plz read our SOPs and other required readings they will make your stay here more enjoyable.

Second, is this just on our servers or others? And how long has this been going on

Thanks for the quick reply! I have read the appropriate documents.

So far, I have only noticed the problem on the Tactical server (#1). But that might be because I love playing on it, and never play anywhere else.

Wait.. I take that back. The same thing happened last night on a nearly-empty server where I had logged on to teach a friend how to play RO. So I don't think the problem is server-specific.

You also asked how long this has been going on; it's been happening since I got the game on March 14.
