I would not, diablo does not have factions like Starcraft does, warcraft RTS translated well into WoW. Starcraft would do be great MMO as well.

In regards to WoW2, seriously doubt it, with 9 million subs, basically it has only been growing since release, there is no point what so ever for a company to make another product that would compete with themselves.

Recap:

Diablo - another fantasy MMO, lack of factions, plus looking at HELL in 3D with some blood, the game could be rated M.

Starcraft - scifi, 3 factions, would work really well, and creates some great RVR(realm vs realm) possibilities. Marine in a siege tank - OMG!!!!


The above 2 have more chances being new MMO's then WoW2.
