Re: What is your favorite RPG?

Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast was a absolute blast to play. It was my first online RPG.
Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, it was pretty awesome, it was much more difficult than Oblivion.

Yeah, Mass Effect is very nice. The sidequests are not so good, and sometimes, it feels a little bit rushed, but the main storyline is great so far (I'm not through it yet, only on the third planet).

Indeed, they could have done more work on the side quests.. however, the game doesnt disappoint. Completing the normal missions take's time too, AND it has a fantastic storyline, could surely be transformed into a movie. Anyway, Mass Effect 2 coming out early 2009 apparently.

Planescape Torment. The story, the combat, the characters... everything about that game was awesome. None can rival it, IMO.
