StarGate: Worlds
Anyone here been following SGW?
Stargate Worlds is an MMORPG currently under development by Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment in association with MGM. The game is designed to allow players to interact in an online universe, based around Stargate SG-1.

I for one really like the game. Thoughts?

Re: StarGate: Worlds
I saw it, but it ended up puzzling me and making me wonder about it all the same. There really isn't much meat to Stargate to build upon unlike Star Trek of Star Wars.
I think it'll be interesting like Matrix online, and just as successful. -_-My sanity is not in question...
It was a confirmed casualty some time ago.
Light, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I had to kill because they ticked me off.

Re: StarGate: Worlds
Not much meat? I'll have to take issue with that. Not only do they have characters, worlds, and basic plot lines from the shows, but they are doing stories of their own. It was supposed to go along with the show, but after that was canceled(
) they decided to do their own thing.
I can't tell you how, but let's just say that I know about the game....it looks great.

Re: StarGate: Worlds
How can you say there isn't much meat to Stargate? There's quite a bit of meat to Stargate, just like how there is for Star Wars and Star Trek. None of these sci-fi serials would survive us fans if they didn't have much meat to them. We're vultures and we quickly dispense with unworthy shows.

The only downside to this MMO is the subscription fee. Other than that, they keep postponing the release date as if they suddenly wanted to add more features to it.Acreo Aeneas
