Discussion: Other Multiplayer Games / Role Playing Games (RPG) - Dragon Age - Just finished my second play through and having "Awakenings" ready to go right behind "Origins"
Just finished my second play through and having "Awakenings" ready to go right behind "Origins" is definitely the way to go although I was really disappointed that the Arl is so close to the Warden Keep and the trunk full of armor and weapons doesn't carry over. Worse than that, the armor I wore in the 2nd play-through didn't carry over so I spawned in "naked". Would have been nice to have a wind down period to straighten out gear and clean out the camp before beginning the next installment. I know this is old news to some of you but I'd like to see other campaigns that center around each of the main characters from Origins. (Take a ship from the harbor with the Qunari, follow Lelianna on her quest, hang out with Shale, and absolutely have a chance to follow Morgianna and find out how the child evolves.)
I just bought this, downloading from Steam now. I absolutely loved Mass Effect 1 and 2 and I have high expectations for Dragon Age.
If it ever downloads, that is.
Is the high-res textures mod any good - is it at all glitchy or is it pretty stable?

Irregular since 2007.
LpBronco, the same thing happened to me when I spawned. I lost my Warden Commander's armour in the transition... it was quite annoying. But, other than that, I quite liked Awakening.
I hope EA doesn't mess up Dragon Age 2. I've been looking forward to this game for a long, long, long time and I know many others have too. So far I have seen no mention of Morrigan. Also, this new character we play doesn't seem to be influenced all that much by what we did in Dragon Age: Origins - which is also a shame since I, alongside many others, tried to perfect some characters for when Dragon Age 2 came out.
Let's just sit, wait and hope.

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
It has been almost 6 months now and I am still waiting for the second peer-review report to come in for my next book (this one is on the future of television).
