Re: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Yeah, street date foe electronics stores is the 21st. Not the 20th. This is due to "Tuesday release" epidemic. Some stores that aren't in the know will have it out on the 20th. I usually drop by my local wal-mart and ask them to check the back on the Monday evening before a Tuesday release. Wal-mart employee's could care less if they break a release date.

Re: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
I preordered it at GameStop on Saturday and they said it'll be here Tuesday afternoon. I don't have too wait to long then. I'm kinda sick anyway, so I'll just sleep until noon and then go get it.

Also just saw it is available on Direct2Drive for $50 for those that just can't wait. Although at 4.5G it might be faster to drive to the store.

Words like revolutionary, ground breaking, and stunning are being bandied about. That makes me want to march over to Best Buy on the way home and check it out.

ive been watching some player made videos for an insight of what the majority of the game actually looks like and all i can say is WOW, especially the outside areas, it looks like an actual believable environment and i cant wait to get my copy through.

Re: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
You don't want any screenshots from me. My Radeon 9600 is running it at 640x480

To give you an idea of how it plays: I sat down to try it, looked up, and realized it was an hour and a half later and I hadn't eaten dinner.|TG-Irr|TychoCelchuuu

I really wish I had Crossfire so I could play this game at high resolutions and I seriously wish that the devs left in HDR+AA.
