If you get morrowind and the bloodmoon expansion, you can have lots of getting turned into a werewolf and wipeing out villages during the night, and turning back into a human in daytime without a price on your head.
p.s. Do any of you know if you can become a werewolf or vampire in Oblivion?

In Oblivion, vampireism is already in, but theres a mod that adds lycanthropy (Werewolf), and Lichdom, I believe its called Oblivion Enchanced. Also adds a bunch of other things to make it feel more like morrowind.

Fallout...hands down the greatest rpg ever. But if you're looking for something a little newer I'd go with NWN2. The single player is a lot of fun.
But seriously, if you haven't played Fallout...I'd go with that over NWN any day.

Actually, the best RPG ever is Chrono Trigger.
A good RPG still to this day is Diablo II. I believe it has withstood the test of time.
