Hold up, what are you smoking? He never admitted to assaulting anyone, and there was no evidence on camera that he did. Flipping someone's hat off does not count as assault, as pissed as that would make me if someone did it. The people they interviewed even said specifically that he did not hit anyone. The police are the ones doing the assaulting here, and all of it. I suggest you re-watch those videos.

I doubt they wanted to kill him (after all, they'll probably face criminal charges), but the fact that they tasered him so many times means they definitely wanted to torture him.

Mandatory psych evaluations every few months could probably prevent at least some of this stuff, like I've said before.

Incidentally, Florida happens to be the state with the highest taser usage.

I dont hate cops, but I hate cops that are stupid. What I mean is I hate it when I see cops do dumb things that get themselves killed. Like walking into a carstop's kill zone. I mean basic acadmy training pissed out the window. Why do you think so many philly cops get killed?

There was a shooting 2 weeks ago in philly where the cops shot 72 rounds and didn't hit their one target. 72 rounds? on a busy street at 1pm and didn't hit the suspect? That doesn't sound right and sounds like they need to hit the shooting range.

Also, 3 nights again I stopped into Wawa for a hoggie. The philly cops stops and is the dirty cop you always see in the movies. Fat, unshaven, specks on his shirt, *A undercover hoslter with no locking mech for his duty holster*, his speedloaders were unbuttoned and easly could have fallen out, his *sneakers* were worn and greasy like a fast food greasy, and has service stripes were falling off. WTH?!? this isn't what I want protecting my street, someone who doesn't care about his job or about himself. That's the cops I hate.

I'm 28, worked in law enforcement myself.

Saturday night I had a great experience with 2 young cops....

I went out with 4 friends. We drank. Alot.

We started by pregaming at my house:
Switcheroo: 1/4 bottle of kettle one
My friend Diana: 1/4 bottle of kettle,
My friend Kareem: 1 flasky-type bottle of jack,
My friend jim did not have nearly as much as he was the DD getting up to the train station.

So after several hours of fun drunken times at Eulogy (the bar i mentioned in another post) last call comes around and 3 of us order a round, not realizing that we've each done so. So with closing time fast approaching we each have 2 duvels and a pitcher of busty blond. No way we're abandoning that beer! The speed drinking begins.

Jim, who did not pregame as heavily is unphased. Unfortunantly 3 of us were unable to maintain our composure. On cue, as we're leaving the bar, kareem, diana and I lose our sense. Di and kareem get lost on the walk to the train station, each wind up having taxi cab adventures in different taxis. Diania goes missing for an hour, she takes taxi tour ride of philly. I walk to the train station with jim (as all 4 of us should have done). After 30 min of waiting for the train I pop all over the platform. blarhrhghgh. Poor form, I know. 2 cops spot me and come on over to investigate my stupidity. One wants to send me to the hospital, one wants to write me a ticket. Jim talks them down saying that he's the dd and he's babysitting 3 idiots. Idiot #2 shows up. Kareem, covered in vomit after his taxi time. He was forced to clean up his taxi after tossing cookies all over the back. He also now has a pink pack of girly camel cigs as well. Kareem doesnt smoke and if he did, he wouldnt buy pink camels. He doesn't realize he has it unti the next day when he goes through his pockets. Diana is mia... jim gets a call from her taxi driver asking what to do with her... we have her brought to the train station. When the driver arrives jim opens door to find diana passed out in the back. No vomit! yay. She is bruised and scraped as she did attempt to leave the taxi earlier -- while it was still moving. The cops want to hospitalize her too. Jim talks them down.

3 of us are now sitting (or laying on the ground, memory fuzzy) on the train platform vomiting our brains out in the open with two cops standing next to us. The Philadelphia cops get on the train with us and send everyone to another train car. We now go back to NJ, with police patting us on the back helping us vomit the whole way down.

For this I tip my hat to these police. They could have (and possibly should have) locked the 3 of us up for blatent stupidity -- instead they took pity on 3 poor vomit covered souls and excorted us back to NJ!

Just wanted to clarify that I am well aware that are plenty of good cops -- these 2 for example -- but the bad apples really spoil it for all of them.

Yeah thats the truth. I sigh everytime I see another cop suspended for doing something stupid. What I hate more is these police video shows and I can count on 2 hands what half these cops are doing wrong and wondering why they are not dead yet. I understand it's a job, but it's a high risk job that can take your life without warning.

What was the protest for? im not familiar with that group. In my experience different groups bring about different police responses.

looks like it was legit to me... the orders are to push them back on the first hit, just lucky or unlucky that he got her in the mouth, but she was ordered over and over...

then taking the women from the interview, thats crowd control...take the leaders out...

Sure, looks bad by the video... but you don't know what rights the cops have to enforce protest laws for that area...so you assume, he's wrong.
