Honestly, I'd never seen this picture or heard of the guy before today. But it seems like he was a pretty iconic figure at one point. Interesting read.

I'd seen his photo several times, but I didn't know there was that much more to the story.

Frankly, I'm not sure I needed to... The reporter's involvement was interesting.
