Re: The misadventures of my dad.
Reviving of this old gem with some of my Dad's college stories from Kent State.
In my dad's dorm, their was an infamous man know as the "Mad Crapper". This fellow had a reputation of leaving mason jars full of urine and feces in random spots of the dorm. He would put them in the middle of rooms, on the floors of bathrooms, in people's closets. It got to the point in which you had to look inside a washing machine or shower before you used it. Some jars were also sealed with plastic and placed inside trash bags, so when the bag was moved, the jar would spill it's contents inside and become a nasty stink bomb. Well, my dad and his friend were kind of wondering why a person was doing this until one day a man from the upper floor of the dorm came down the stairs carrying a box. He went pass my dad and his friends in the hallway. Chris (one of my dad's friends) heard bottles clicking inside the box. Well, this guy went and visited several rooms on the floor and went back upstairs with an empty box. When Chris check the rooms, they all had the jars filled with the nasty contents. The Mad Crapper was kicked out of the dorm, when they searched his room, his closet was filled with jars of the nasty stuff and each one had a date on them. The ironic thing is this guy was a psychology major. Another character was a man by the name of Mechanical Bob who was a schizophrenic taking lithium to ease the outbreaks. He got his name by the way he move like a robot constantly. Anyway, a girl named Pam (around 4 foot 6) called my dad since she didn't want to do her laundry in the same room as Bob. When my dad and Pam went into the room, Bob was sitting on the washing machine eating and talking to his casserole. Pam asked to get to the washign machine he was sitting on, and Bob spread his legs out and revealed the opening. Pam, embaressed of course, asked him to get off completely. Bob gave a nasty look and got off. My father, watching this, was leaning next to a window. Bob goes up to dad and asked, and i do qoute "I wonder how fast you would be going if when you hit the ground if you fell out of this window." My father, being the smart ass he is, said "Well, it depends on how much i flap my arms on the way down." This made Bob laugh and my father and him became friends instantly. Another quirk about Bob was that he had a very strong foot fetish. Any woman on campus would steer clear of him whenever they had flip flops on. Well a lady one day sat down on a sofa near Bob and kicked her feet up. She was wearing high-heels. To torment hi, she kicked of her heels and started doing things like scratching the sole of one foot with her toes. Bob was fidgeting like mad until he finally screamed really loud and ran into the bathroom. more stories later.

Re: The misadventures of my dad.
There was an asian couple who was also in the dorm with my dad and the husband was extremely controlling of the wife. She had to be exactly five feet away from him but no further, and he would call her terrible names if she disobeyed.
Well one night, their was very loud crashing that sounded like bottles coming from the dorm room from where they were. The husband was in one corner of the room while the wife was in the opposite. The husband was throwing glass bottles at the two walls on either side of her to keep her from leaving. After the husband was arrested, he was kicked out of Kent. Yet another sign of irony was that this man was a psychology major specializing in domestic violence.
