More and more I'm starting to believe this was indeed a UFO, but not of the extra-terrestrial variety. More like a big-time secret govt. project.
But F-16s don't hover in formation or do they?

Re: UFOs in Texas

The F-16s were either contracted to be "chase planes" for the secret craft, OR they were indeed "chasing" something strange. I dont believe for a second that the F-16s themselves were the only thing those people saw.

Re: UFOs in Texas

What the official story people said about there being 10 F-16s was a flat out lie. Unless there were 10 f-16s with holographic projectors capable of holding a 1.5 mile wide image stationary over a town, while simultaneously not making any noise.

Re: UFOs in Texas

Well,

My father was on a plane recently sitting next to some dude from Cisco who basically goes around selling their super-duper future stuff to companies (explains emerging technologies so they can make proper investments in IT infrastructure - sales), and homeboy the salesman whipped out a video of a recent presentation their CEO gave in India. At one point the CEO referred to one of his partners back in the USA, and *poof*, on stage appeared a hologram of the guy back in SF.

Not only did the hologram appear real (and I mean REAL, not oh look there's a hologram) to everyone in the audience, the guy in SF was also seeing the audience from where he was. In other words, some guy sitting near the front row of the presentation in India could raise his hand, and the guy in sf would see that person's image. We say the hologram turn, look at the person asking the question, and say "yes John, what's your question?" Stuff like that.

So no, maybe it wasn't a bunch of f-16's and maybe it wasn't aliens and maybe there's some really cool stuff on the horizon.

This tech. was featured in a fashion show highlighted by Kate Moss. It's not a true hologram so to speak, just advanced projector technology.

All of a sudden, I'm interested in this thread. Can I get Kate Moss projected into my living room?

I'm working on a tech. that'll actually do better then that (one reason I havent been gaming much lately). I just have to put together the design, capital, and prototype. If it works, I can give you Kate Moss any which way you like her... and you wouldnt be able to tell the difference between "her" and the real thing.

And nope, I aint givin details on how...

Re: UFOs in Texas

Well, if you're beaming Kate Moss into people's homes, it's either GOING to be "that type of toy" or a crack smoking simulation, so....neat idea but I'm curious about your business model.

Interesting tangent going on here...
