Now just read all of that out-loud to yourself in the G-Man voice from Halflife. It sounds very cool that way, trust me. Slightly more believable, too. Slightly.

Re: UFOs in Texas
I certainly don't primarily think deductively. Try driving using deductive reasoning sometime, just please give us a heads-up first.
In any case, you've several times suggested that you're privy to some information or have some insight into the "real" reality that the rest of us aren't seeing. I've asked you a few times, and I paraphrase, "yeah, so what?". You've had trouble answering me. Let's assume that king kong from Planet Zandor wants to adopt us. SO WHAT? What would a wise person do to prepare for Mr. Kong's arrival? Do I quit my job? Do I buy an AR-15? Do I start stocking up on monkey food? In other words, what good does it do me to recognize the "truth" that UFOs are here? How does it change my behavior? Or does it simply grant me access to a special club where we sit around telling ourselves how much smarter we are than everyone who isn't in the club? I want to spend my time more-or-less efficiently to protect my family from physical harm, build a treasury to see us through hard times and provide for opportunities. The moment I feel that I'm done with that work, I will spend my time enjoying the fruits of my labor half-buzzed on a very nice golf course. What does being "in" on the UFO situation do FOR ME? |

If its Falcon jets, why are they just hovering in the sky? I find that a bad answer to what had happened... Least say your doing flare tests or something

"you must pony up your monthly dues before you can - rep Rincewind again" My main man. Yo. Dude. Have you been knocking down jager shots before work again? Re: bluesnews, is that like Blue's Clues? Cause my daughter loves that show. I think I'll plop her down in front of that website and leave her unsupervised for several hours. Anyway, this is fascinating, but I think we should delve more into this 3am Club 'n Ice Cream session... |

Re: UFOs in Texas
I need to renew my subscriptions. (Club publishes 3 different mags, or did back when I was a subscriber a decade ago.)
Wait. What was this thread about, again? ![]()

Re: UFOs in Texas
Dunno if you guys saw but they revisited the Texas UFO story again on Larry King a few nights ago (maybe last night, i dont remember). This time they had a few more reputable witnesses of other UFO sightings not related, as well as a skeptic addressing the recent development of the AirForce saying they did indeed have a flight of F-16s in the area during the sightings.
More and more I'm starting to believe this was indeed a UFO, but not of the extra-terrestrial variety. More like a big-time secret govt. project.

Re: UFOs in Texas
Maybe it was a flying submarine on its way to another star system.
