No they can still use artificial insemination. They would have to cut off their balls to qualify, which seems a lot harder. On the other hand there are so many possible victims on the earth that one person is sure to find a way.

Re: Hello Kitty AR-15
I always wondered why in the land where guns are tools, "wmd"s are not.

Re: Hello Kitty AR-15
Indeed, the ability to kill is of primary concern, but what are guns really used for? The vast majority are used to put holes in paper, bring home meat for dinner, or simply sitting somewhere providing a little bit of comfort, knowing that you have more control over your tiny piece of this world. A relative few are used to murder in this country.

Re: Hello Kitty AR-15
IIRC the 10 commandments include "thou shalt not kill". I'm not a Christian, but most who are claim that "kill" means "murder" and that this law doesn't disallow self defense. Hence, I take the word "kill" to carry a lot of context that can be used to present a misleading argument.
Guns aren't designed to murder. I'm not even convinced that they're designed to stop the recipient of the bullet from living. Anyone in the military here and involved in procurement who can report what specs are desired in a combat gun? Isn't it just incapacitation? Is the stopping of life ever specified in the specs?

Re: Hello Kitty AR-15
Yeah, the 5.56x45 NATO is designed to incapacitate. The theory being that a wounded soldier, who must be transported and cared for, places a greater strain on the enemy than a simple dead soldier. But that's a military weapon, an assault rifle.
Hunting rifles are designed to kill. They typically deliver far higher amounts of energy.

Re: Hello Kitty AR-15
with that said, a beurocrat would think that if an assault rifle is used to wound and not kill, then they shouldnt be needed by civilian, in that if used for hunting, would not be effective in dropping your game ( animal which you are hunting )

Re: Hello Kitty AR-15
Why is that? Are bureaucrats predisposed to believe that civilians only possess firearms solely for hunting purposes? I own lots of guns and have precisely zero interest in hunting.
But then, I'm not a bureaucrat.

Re: Hello Kitty AR-15
Cingy just won my heart with those cute modded guns. The collaspsable pistol handle on the AR looks neat. Now it can be both a long rifle and a AR.

Re: Hello Kitty AR-15
You don't get one. The courts will say that the government is not responsible for your personal security and is only responsible for the security of the nation as a whole.
In short, if guns were banned, us civies would be screwed if we were robbed at gunpoint and had to face death minutes later. Back on topic... Cingy, how did you mod the AR handle to swivel like that? Do they sell extra AR handles or something?
