I like to pour water on any wit I encounter just to make sure it is witty.

But that is one problem with type, sometimes it is difficult to tell if someone is being witty/sarcastic/whatever or just insulting. Need a [/sarcasm] thingy...

Are you talking about the OP? There are tons of aftermarket parts for the AR platform. The stock/grip in the OP was probably chosen to make the rifle legal in California, where a pistol grip would make that rifle illegal.
