Microsoft Event (2k8 product line kit giveaway to attendees)

Hi everyone, just wanted to drop by and share what I hope will be a great event to attend (I will personally attend the one in Toronto near me).

It is a MS event to launch their new 2008 product line (Windows Server 2008, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008). As a bonus attendees get a promotional kit with versions of those three products.

Some info about the promotional kits:
Windows Server Enterprise– RTM bits with product key w/override 1 yr EULA for eval & testing
VS Standard – NFR RTM bits
SQL Server – CTP5

I'm going to the LA event. Looks pretty fun, actually.

I get invited to all of these Microsoft events and they're always on Thursdays at 9am here. It's kind of annoying that if I want to go I have to take a day off of work. This one I just might but most MS events aren't worth losing a days pay.

Though I did go to the equivilant of this last year and I have to say I like my free version of Office 2007
