Shooting would only make the rabbit more angry and more heavy. They'd be shooting until it became too heavy to move.

It's like a starfish. If you cut a leg off, you now have two of them.

The NRA says: "Guns don't kill people, people kill people"

So to solve the problem just remove one of the two.

I see that the guy also has a Thompson machine gun (Tommy gun with a box clip instead of a barrel).

Most of these people are collectors. The couple in #6 almost all the rifles of World War 2, and some pictures seem to have muzzle loading rifles as well.

My opinion of guns is "if you're not a idiot with a short temper, you should be allowed to have one.

It's hard to tell from the picture what that really is. It could easily be a modern semi-automatic reproduction, such as this one by Auto-Ordnance. Heck, with a 16.5-inch barrel, it wouldn't even be an SBR.

I will give you the answer, NOBODY.

Do you own firearms? Have you interacted with firearms on a greater level then computer games?

I'm betting that you haven't....

If you aren't in their position, or you haven't lived in their homes, then who are you do question what THEY need?

You obviously know nothing of firearms, and are again like seemingly all of humanity, are afraid of the unknown...

I would recommend you take some sort of introductory firearms class so you could be aquainted with these "Lunatic's", and be able to judge their character properly, along with gaining a proper understanding on how they work. But you live in a country where that option has been practicaly removed as an option.

Guns are a culture, a way of life I guess, and people like them like anything else. It's an important part of their lifes, mine included. Each person is different, and has different interests. Just because a person is unfamiliar with a person's interest, doesn't mean it gives a person the authority to label them as "Lunatics".

I only wish you luck in your life, and hope there IS a time when you can respect who these people are, and I hope there ISN'T a time were you could have benefited from one of those evil guns....
Just saying, go easy on the people from england, or any other place where guns are illegal. We only really hear about or see guns when kids are being shot by them. In the USA, these pictures don't seem odd at all, but on this side of the pond, that is certainly seen as 'insane'. For us, seeing a family together holding guns is like seeing a family sitting together with a crack pipe going round, it's just so crazy and something you'd never see (please don't interpret this as me saying guns are as bad as crack). Although I have to admit, some of those guns do look awesome, the best you can get round here is a mach 10 with no bullets from some guy with a balaclava, but if you're really set on bullets, they can get you a regular handgun, that's air-powered with lead rounds, which is good enough to get you out of a tight corner I suppose, but these guns are just sweet.

I have lived in England before, and guns to people there are voodoo magic. Most the policeman don't even carry them!

Yh, exactly. Being around guns isn't a huge thing for me personally, being that my family is not native to england, when visiting "back home" there are a lot of guns lying around here and there. Also, my friend brought in a gas powered pistol (pretty much the one I was describing earlier) for a media studies project we had a while back, so my friends are a little more relaxed about guns, although, the people who saw with the guns were a little shaken, especially because we also brought in a sniper rifle pellet gun, which we hid in a guitar case. The barrel was so obviously sticking out, and when people saw the gun it was a huge deal, although the gun itself wasn't that impressive, people were amazed at how he had got a gun. Man that was a fun week .

And I guess the street police don't carry guns because they don't usually have to deal with guns have less gun crime, you know, due to the fact you can't buy guns from a corner shop . When there is some sort of gun threat, there's a special police unit that's called in to deal with the situation (don't remember the name at the moment).

In fact very soon after the 7/7 London terrorist bombings, a suspected terrorist was shot, and it was such a huge deal. I mean, it was way out of the ordinary, the guy was running to catch a train, he was tackled to the floor and shot multiple times, although afterwards, it was discovered he was just a Brazilian guy late for his train...tragic story.

Every sort of witty retort I can think of will probably offend you Americans, and there's way more of you than me (in the world and this forum), so, no comment .

As far as the tragic shooting which I followed in the news pretty closely, it was truly a sad accident but I can't help but wonder if your countrymen were more familiar with firearms if this sort of thing would still have happened. I'm not criticizing in anyway, I just wonder about it. I thought I had a pretty good idea from the Airsoft community about how unusual firearms are to the general public in the UK, but most of the Airsoft community there seems to be either former military, or a military buff so I had no idea that a gun was that shocking to the general population.

On the witty retort, let it fly. I was obviously kidding and we (well, most of us) can take a joke from our friends and allies across the pond.
