A very interesting thread so far on both topics, thanks guys

I've had my IQ tested twice in my life: once when I was 7 and again when I was 22.

The first time was when I was applying to get into an exclusive private school (parents thought it was a good idea for their son) but I failed exceptionally at the entrance exam and the school asked my parents for me to take the test to quantify the extent of the problem. Turned out that the test had recorded "a significantly higher than average IQ".

That stumped my worried parents AND the school and took them from thinking I was a retard all the way to a genius. So the school decided to take me even though I had failed awefully at the entrance exam and I continued to fail terribly at exams for the next 15 years. To this day I have never been told my score from that IQ test.

I have always believed that school tests don't measure "intelligence" but rather "memory recall" and my memory is simply atrocious whether it's short or long-term and I make no apology and feel no shame in saying so

But back to the topic:

My second test was a Mensa monitored test held in London, England while I was at university (yes, I actually made it as far as university) and I was told I had achieved a score of 157 and was asked to join their society as a full member. Which I didn't do because I only took the test to win a bet among my friends (they had to buy a shot for every point they lacked from my score in an attempt to bring me down to an acceptable level)

Now I don't subscribe to the thought that I am worth any less or any more than the next person because despite what that number means I have found that I can learn something new and interesting from even the most foolish of people. I simply don't consider myself any better or worse than anyone else, and nor should I.

As far as the use of weed is concerned, try to keep it in moderation as with everything else in life: too much is harmful.

Nothing shows up in the video.. But legalization and all that has been a big controversy in American and world wide politics for a long time.. I always hate seeing it when cops bust someone for selling just 50 sack maximums of weed and not even 3 blocks away theirs a house that sells out a bunch of ****in coke.. Tell me which one messes people over more.. If cops could take the time off of worrying about weed they would be able to pay more attention to drunk drivers and things like that..

- i don't smoke/have not smoked weed (or cigarettes for the matter) or any other drug for the matter...
i do drink on occasion, but only socially

and for those that think my in game name is 'cause im always 'toasted' your wrong =P

I use drugs to quiet the screams of the people I've killed. They keep saying "why leejo, why" and I say "you know why" and take a relaxing toke off the coke can I've filled with paint.

Not that this is a shocker, but the one finding studies of pot and behavior show reliably is that young people become irresponsible when they smoke pot. They stop working as much or as hard etc. I know, call me capt obvious, but this is the one reliable finding in the pot literature that I have found concerning the effects of it on behavior long term.

What about just decriminalizing it instead of making it legal. Put a proportional fine on it instead of giving jail time....

I would be down for that, we could tax people $10,000 everyime they get caught with it! My taxes would be low, and that would be awesome!

But how many people do you know that smoke weed that are wealthy enough to afford $10k? Especially when they are liable to get hit with a fine every year, lol.

nah the fine would be proportional to the amount... like a progressive tax almost. get caught w/ an 1/8th and it's $200... cought w/ a quarter pound and it's $5000 and you loose your driving license.... or something....
