Re: Obama or Clinton?
Dunno really. I'm sure it's not tax-free so I guess I'll pay tax on it.
I give the gubment an interest-free advance on what I owe 26 times a year. Seems once every 5 years is the least they can do. |

Re: Obama or Clinton?
Get the answers from the source:
http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/...177937,00.html Q. Is my Stimulus Payment taxable? A. No. You will not owe tax on your payment when you file your 2008 federal income tax return. But you should keep a copy of the IRS letter you receive later this year listing the amount of your payment. Q. Will the payment I receive in 2008 reduce my 2008 refund or increase the amount I owe for 2008? A. No, the Stimulus Payment will not reduce your refund or increase the amount you owe when you file your 2008 return.

Re: Obama or Clinton?
Why anyone would ever vote for Barack Hussein Obama, is beyond me. The more I learn about this unpatriotic fool, the more I really hope something really bad happens to him so the country I love won't have him in our highest office.

Re: Obama or Clinton?
Yeah, I'm not much for liking or disliking a person based solely on his name, but in this case, it just seems to enforce my suspicions of his agenda. Someone who hopes to become our leader and yet does not show respect for our flag really unnerves me. Couple that with his various radical associations, and I think he is a recipe for the end of the United States of America. I think I'll go back to restocking my food and ammunition. I think we are in for a rough time in the next few years...

Re: Obama or Clinton?
I wouldn't worry too much about it. After the 5000th time the voters see the man who married him, baptised his children, and ministered to him for 20 years rant "God Damn America" for 5 minutes, among other really juicy sound-bites, his odds will be about as good as if his name really were Osama. And if that gets old the 527s can drag out his terrorist buddy Ayers. And if that gets old, they can drag out his wife talking about how she hasn't been proud of her country (until Iowa voted for her husband. Yay?).
I think Democrats are going to look back on the swiftboat vets with fond nostalgia compared to what the 527s are going to do to BHO. |

Re: Obama or Clinton?
This has been said of all the previous Presidents as long as I've been around, and it's been true each time. But I don't think it can be any worse this time than in all the previous times. As long as the masses keep voting themselves more bread and circuses, the leash will just continually tighten. The frog's pot will just get hotter.

Re: Obama or Clinton?
I dunno guys. I am seriously worried about if this fool makes it into the White House. He obviously has racist tendencies at the very least, he refuses to respect our flag or National Anthem, he thinks it's a good idea to open dialogue with terrorist nations, and he has ties to multiple people that are known for their anti-American sentiments. How in the hell can we allow someone like this in charge? I'm not much of a political activist, but I think I am going to check into what I can do to bring this guy down before it's too late.
