Hillary will never be able to take the roll of office. She has no credit at all. The only reason she is getting votes is because of Bill. If you think that Bill is going to be the actual president. You are sadly mistaken. She wants to abolish the "No Child Left Behind" laws and pull every troop out of Iraq. This will never happen.

Obama

Barrack on the other hand can turn out to be a great leader or he can fail.(Not as bad as Bush.) Obama on the other hand wants to keep "No Child Left Behind" and slowly take troops out of Iraq. I think he is the obvious choice.

McCain

What to say about John..Nothing really except for the fact is. He is George Bush. He wants to send more troops to Iraq. He is obviously NOT THE BEST CHOICE.

Sara, NCLB actually has a very good chance of being repealed, or at the very least heavily modified during the next administration, especially if the Democrats gain a majority in the Senate during that time. NCLB is an unfunded mandate that is extremely unpopular in most of the teaching field, especially outside of elementary schools.

Frankly, your love of the program makes me seriously doubt your already tenuous claim of being a teaching professional.

@Raz: Either this thread or the Socialism vs Capitalism thread seems like a fine place to continue the debate on Socialized medicine. Socialized Health Care certainly seems like a fairly important subset of the Socialism vs Capitalism question.

*grin* Nah, Kero, I'm fine with the socialism thread. It was more a comment on, first, how I didn't see a need to split the threads, and second, how a thread on socialism was not actually what we needed, but rather one on socialized medicine.

On NCLB, both my parents are teachers, one for high school computer science and math, and the other for autistic elementary schools. Both absolutely detest NCLB, as did all my high school teachers.

I haven't heard Hil or Obama talk about how they would leave a nation, that was ruled for over 20 years by a tyrantical dictator who's idol was hitler. I would love to hear obama and Hell Clinton talk about how they would help the Iraqi people, besides just packing up and leaving.

Yes. I replied to several of your posts with a couple that really sandblasted you, and I woke up deciding that verbally beating up on a girl in the sandbox wasn't my proudest moment.

I do not appreciate your post that began "hey leejo, hypocritical much" AT ALL, but upon further review I decided to chalk up your post to immaturity, and I deleted my posts in which I responded in a manner I choose to reserve for adults.

I'm still waiting for anything that resembles an apology, or even an acknowledgment, of your silly, stupid, bigoted, and offensive statements about people from the south, and that's just one example of your offensive statements. You've pissed off every veteran here, and they draw a lot of water at this place. When Apophis dives into the Sandbox to lay into you personally, and repeatedly, that's a very bad sign.

IMO you should step up and say you're sorry once or twice. It might go a long way toward rehabilitating your reputation here.

If Obama announces that Edwards will be his VP, i think he has a very strong chance of winning (plus gaining votes in the southern states). I like edwards, hes a good guy overall and also brings to the table similarities in looks to JFK, and he speaks well, and might bring something to the table. Though he might also be going for the AG spot....
