Re: 186mph on side streets!

Hah, I laughed.. One sexy bike you got though.. Was always curious how people would actually be going like 150mph still moving in and out of traffic every one and awhile and still make it out alive without speed wobbles or anything.

Re: 186mph on side streets!

This is how it is really done:
Not recommended or endorsed in any way but it sure doesn't look like a fake. Apparently it's a girl riding that bike. Check the comments.

Re: 186mph on side streets!

If that girl can ride a bike like that Id bet shes crazy in bed..

Some nice stuff though, never seen fast bike speeds in heavy traffic like that, though they do got some in America on myspace somewhere with lighter traffic hitting about 170

Compared to modern day superbikes, the Y2K Superbike that Leno has isn't much of anything special OTHER than the fact that it has a gas turbine powerplant. It was impressive when it was made, but not that impressive when compared to a ZX-12R or a 'Busa.

I have a Kawasaki zx1200c, and have had it to 180mph, no big deal.

I have seen a Y2K in person, and you really have to hear it start up to appreciate it.

All I can say is that it is AMAZING, even if it's not quicker/faster then anything else.

I've heard them start up and it is impressive. Overall it is a VERY impressive bike and unlike anything else I've seen, but its status as being faster than the other bikes on the road is long gone.

I wish they did a little retooling and came out with a Y2K8 Superbike.
