Lol, had me fooled, I admit. The fastest I have gone that could be confirmed was 162 MPH, and that was in my '72 Charger. Luckily for me, the cop who got me on radar was a friend of mine and didn't throw me in jail. He didn't give chase, but made a point to come find me the next day and ask if it was me and give me a nice long lecture.

Speed can be fun and is definitely a rush, but it does get scary sometimes once you get up there. The slightest thing that goes wrong could be fatal to you and others. I miss that car sometimes, but I also think selling her is the only reason I am alive today.

Haha! nice one. Speed is fun though, but only on tracks (such as as HPDE's)

A little off topic, but I'm looking forward to heading out to Watkin's Glen for an HPDE in a few weeks. I went a couple years back and it was a blast, should be a good time again!

Nicely done, I was waiting for the explosion of posts about safety etc.

I don't condone speeding on public roads in excess but sometimes you need to feed some speed to your ride. What I don't get are the a$$ hats that decide to try and speed in and around town, your just asking for trouble.

The second vid is more interesting. At 4:40 minutes in, I'm at about 120mph. At about 5:33 minutes in, I almost hit the wall, you can hear the instructor get a bit nervous :-)
