Can you hear this?

http://www.digitalcreations.cc/sniper/bz.mp3

No, this isn't a screamer or anything. I really want to know how many of you can hear it. Age DOES matter too, so please post your age. If you don't want to, simply put
younger- less than 13
young- 13-17
middle- 17-25
old- 25-30
older- 30-45
oldest- 45+

No, oldest doesnt mean your an old fart, as old is 25-30, which is NOT old. I am seeing how many people on different age levels can hear this. Please be honest too.

Re: Can you hear this?

I can hear a constant ring like the highpitched buzzing an old computer monitor sometimes starts giving off.

I'm, uh, young as well.

Re: Can you hear this?

Cing's spent too much time on the range. I can hear it. I'm 37. Is that young or old?

There was a story about this on NPR Friday. A guy invented the Mosquito Teen Repellant that emits a high pitched tone that many adults can't hear at all but which drives teens nuts. A guy installed it as his shop to drive away some hoodlums.

Now it's being marketed as a ringtone for kids to text message each other in class without the teacher noticing.

Edit: apparently I'm "older" and life stops at 45.

Re: Can you hear this?

This is one I am trying to replicate actually. That's why it depends on age. Life doesnt stop after 45.. thats why i put the + :P
The ages doesnt means your old, it's there just for the study purposes. It seems a few more people hear it than they should. I may want to increase and make it a bit higher.

Yes I can hear it, and I am 17. I hear it loud and clear as day. It isn't realyl a beeping noise though.. it's a solid sound all the way through.
