If your intent is to piss people off, then let me know so I can put you on my "ignore" list. If, though, you want me to pay attention to what you say, then put enough effort into it to spell correctly. Otherwise I can only conclude that you don't really care what people make of your post, and you're only here to spam and waste my time.

Re: this is what i beleive in.

Ferris, I wasn't invoking it, I was just pointing it out. I know, I know, I should've made it clearer and now I feel a bit of a tool, but ehhhh.

Well, it's still readable, so I don't think we're at the point "break down of communications" yet, Cingular.

Just to make it clear to all, I'm not taking a side here, I shy away from that. Just trying to keep things seemingly civil. A moderator, if you will. :P

EDIT: Scratch, I take it by "you", you weren't referring to me personally?

Re: this is what i beleive in.

He wasnt referring to you at all. It was the general "you", meaning anyone who chooses to post. Doing good work here brain.

I'm gonna go ahead and not take that as sarcasm, as I have no idea. :P

Sorry about the ambiguity. I was speaking to the "audience". My assumption is that there are more lurkers than participants in a thread, and my posts attempt to address everyone.

As a rule I try not to "argue" or debate directly against others online. Most people who present a position on the Internet are set in their ways, so my objective is to convince the onlookers, by better presenting my case to them than my opposition.

You know who I hate most in such discussions? It's not the ones who disagree with me. It's the ones who agree, but do so stupidly. "The best lie is the truth told unconvincingly." (Anyone know the actual quote and source?)

Hahahaha. Awesome song. And almost as politically relevant as the original music video posted. Which isn't very much at all.

Btw, my dear J.Barker, I beg of you to please use Firefox with the AMAZING built-in spell checker. I am also very particular about spelling and grammar. Thus, when debating, it at least makes people appear more intelligent. Although my grammar isn't perfect, I kid you not that I was a better speller than you whilst still in elementary school. The difference between who and hoo (which isn't a word) is pretty big. Seriously. Take your time when posting, and use the edit feature liberally. I'm not trying to pick on you here, but giving you some constructive criticism to help you possibly make your point a bit more effectively. And saying that blacks are one of our nations problems doesn't help your case much. In fact, even I found that rather offensive.

Scratch: of course I know the original source! Have you read the bottom of my signature? Same source!

Nice try

Doesn't convince me though, that is a fairly typical response once one has given up in a discussion...

Re: this is what i beleive in.

Wow. I understood perhaps the first three words. Everything else was mumbo jumbo plus screaming.

That is not (understandable) music, it's a sore throat waiting to happen.

Oh I tried reading the lyrics while following along. I got lost and tried matching words to rythym. I'm still lost 3 minutes into the song.

Re: this is what i beleive in.

Barker, even if you did that, I took what you said personally.

I'm just a good for nothing sitting on his welfare check!

You made an obviously racist remark because you were BORED? If you're bored, read a book. Read the constitution, something I don't feel you're educated in. And if you have read the constitution in it's entirety, do you consider me 3/5th's of a person because I'm black?
