I'm going on a 7 day eastern caribbean cruise SOMETIME this summer (read: before september), bit I'm not sure when. Gotta wait for my buddy who's joining me to get his orders (he's a Navy guy). Gonna be me, him and 4 girls from texas. Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Cococay. Oh yeah.
I'll post the G rated pictures when I get back.

Spent a week in Puerto Rico one christmas. Great island, St. Maarten is probably my next most favorite.
I don't think pictures of bulkheads will be what we want to see, but hey, it's probably the only G-rated pictures that will come out of it.

Renting a car and driving from Bryan, Texas to Frisco, Colorado for 10 days in July of Colorado goodness and fresh cool mountain air while staying in a condo with the In-Laws.
It should be pretty fun and a nice break from the heat of Texas..

me and my wife will be driving from buffalo NY to colorado in july to visit my buddy and his wife, just west of golden. 2 weeks of hiking, skiing and climbing.
and if gas isn't too expensive, in august we might drive out to squamish BC for climbing and maybe some diving.

I'll be visiting Brazil for the 4th time later this year for 2 weeks. Beautiful country with beautiful women.

I will be spending 2 weeks on a lakefront cottage in downeast Maine. It is about a 15 minute drive to the ocean or a 4 hour kayak ride with a portage or two along the way. Very good times. I will be there last week in june, first week in july.

Vacation? What vacation? That thing you call a vacation is always used trying to make one set of parents happy while the other is upset your not visiting them.
The wife and I live in Ohio. Her parents live in Vermont. My parents live in New Mexico. Every occasion to take any vacation is an inter familial war over who we're going to spend it with. There are never any winners. No matter how we choose to divvy up the time we have, someone is always hurt.
The best vacation I've had in years is when I get to stay at home.

Between trying to arrange time off from work, saving the money and picking a place that the whole family would enjoy, I've not been able to take a vacation that was longer than a few days, and even those are usually to go see family. Vacations just don't happen here...

Never really have taken a vacation in my life. During the military my vacation days would be spent seeing my mother. And I don't really count that as vacation.
Since I have gotten out of the Navy I have sold back almost all my vacation.
