Re: The Sarah Palin corner of the Sandbox!
The pundits can't call it over yet because if they do the consulting cash dries up. Our credibility (and ability to leverage fees) from here on is going to be based on who lays out the best "roadmap" to how it was won or lost and how insightful they were. Thats how they get columns, face time on cable and hits on their websites. The media is 1. In the tank for the messiah 2. They love the ratings & viewership (advertising cash) of a horse race. they won't give up the game.
I've already given you guys thousands of dollars worth of insight gratis.
Feel free to pm me at 3 am on Nov. 5th. (Hillary ads for those in Rio Linda)
Hillary will be ringing Barry at that time.... and Michelle will be pissed......

Re: The Sarah Palin corner of the Sandbox!
Why do you call him Barry? I thought he went by Barack. I guess we should just call John McCain "Johnny". Afterall, we know all these guys personally right? No need to refer to them by their last names or at least the first names they use. No sir. No reason for that.

Re: The Sarah Palin corner of the Sandbox!
Are you serious? You must be kidding. IRS agent suddenly gets a conscious.
I'm not going to go through all the disgusting sexism and lewd filth that I'm sure jumps out of the previous 38 pages of this thread. I'm sure I won't find any examples of YOU tsk tsking any of that. Nice try.
I understand you just got back from your little Nuremburg rally in Greenbay and while you still can taste the cool aid don't think you are suddenly some "voice of moderation".
It is well known that he was raised as "Barry" and in 1980 or so his "self discovery" led him to return to his birth name. Check Newsweek or The L.A. Times about that.
Really, you have to lighten up. Obamabots can be so humorless. Try saying this:
"McSame" "McAngry" " McBush" That's funny stuff. No harm.. Don't suppose you were over in the Mccain thread acting as a "uniter" either eh? Spare me.Last edited by Shottglass628; 09-23-2008 at 11:36 PM. Reason: clarity

Re: The Sarah Palin corner of the Sandbox!
Of course I am paid. Doesn't make me a shill. The fact that I am objective enough for the employ of either party is my trump card. I was somewhat nonplussed to see the dems choke this summer. My analysis can be biting and I understand that. I can certainly tell the Mcaniacs where they are tripping up as well.
But that's insignificant parlor chatter at this point. This thing is done. I guess I just waded in here because the sophistry and ill informed banter about Palin was too much.
I wish you all well and should sell some duct tape on Ebay so the skull shrapnel from your exploding heads on election night doesn't do to much collateral damage. If you do not head my words and consider patching your party up for 2012 and the off year elections you should at least wrap your heads up with some ballistic material on Nov. 3rd.
Shot out.

Is it just me or does Shott remind anyone else of that crazy scientist from that new show "Fringe."

Shott, like I said before I was pretty deep in your camp not too long ago and agreed with just about everything you've said... BUT, things have changed now in the past few weeks that have given life back to the Obama campaign - it's not so slam dunk anymore and the numbers both in polls and in registered voters reflect that.
I will enjoy digging your mantras back up though on the 5th of November.

Re: The Sarah Palin corner of the Sandbox!
Anger. All I was saying was that he went by Barack. And yes, I am aware of the name he went by before deciding to go by his given name. I was making the point that he no longer goes by that name, so why call him Barry? Also, why call that a Nuremburg rally? I went and saw a presidential candidate speak. I did not hail the man, I did not bow down to him. I applauded the points I liked. Comparing either candidate to a Nazi is so childish and inflammatory for the purpose of being inflammatory. This is the United States. I'm not going to around calling any rally that unless it really is a bunch of Nazis. I hope I haven't said anything sexist in this thread, and I don't think I have. I won't look through the thread now, but I think all I have said was that picking Palin seemed political and that she has zero qualifications. Seriously, calm down.

Re: The Sarah Palin corner of the Sandbox!
Guys, really.. take some classes in poli sci.. then buy a house... pay a mortgage... raise a family... establish a career... live a little.. then maybe you can relate to the American experience.
I'm not angry.... really. Just you have no context to a cult of personality. You are too young and ill educated to understand the Mcgovern phenom. You have no context to what has happened this cycle. While your world views and comfort zones instruct your opinions and feelings you have not a clue how they betray your assumptions.
I am merely an alarm clock to your staggering sleep walk. HEED MY WORDS. It did not have to be this way for the party of the people but they have sewn the seeds of their own defeat.
Agent of the IRS.... let your heart not be troubled... The IRS will still exist...and you will still....."believe"......a true believer...ahhh... refreshing... but still nieve beyond the pale.
PS. I just can't explain the tea leaves that a political professional can read at this point. I can however, emphasize with your feelings. Fight the good fight and be just.
Just don't invest too much.Last edited by Shottglass628; 09-24-2008 at 02:32 AM. Reason: a ps..

Re: The Sarah Palin corner of the Sandbox!
Methink's you doth overrate your opinion.
McGovern and Obama have almost no parallel, other than that they were Democrats, and Novak is not in play, after complicity to (IMO) treason. It's too early to call, really, although, again, today, I find myself wincing from embarrassment at the severe lack of skill from McCain in his oratory. I've had 8 years of wincing from embarrassment at the leader of the free world speaking. Don't need more. WTF is with the aspiration to mediocrity that seems so endemic to the Republicans?
Palin is a perfect fit in that glove, and that is what this thread is about.
Do or do not, there is no try....

Re: The Sarah Palin corner of the Sandbox!
Umm umm ahh ahh ah er er er ... Obama speak...
Once again you miss the point. This Sock puppet of the Kennedy/MoveOn.OrgSorosOrgy is done.
McGovern actually had more of a resume than the "one". I should ban myself till the middle of November because you continue to operate on the assumption that this election is still in play. The biographies speak for themselves.... this is tiresome and I should not indulge you neophytes any longer. But alas.. It is kind of an poli-sci workout for me. I should be better prepared for a political science Phd having engaged the masses in their unbridled populism.

Re: The Sarah Palin corner of the Sandbox!
Lock it up please.
It has been nothing but a lewd sexist hate fest charading under the pretext of "qualification" with tiresome questions about "access".
A pointless thread.
I double dog dare you to lock it up.
Please do the right thing and lock it up.
I have drawn the ire of the Obamabots. I regret to have troubled the echo-chamber that you all exist in. Sorry to rain on your parade of Palin hate. I'll probably even be banned from here. I got an infraction for chiding a person who accused me of being a racist by mentioning "dimmies".
I think the Nuremburg comparison is all the more appropriate. Now there is a brownshirt element to the lefty fascism this place smacks of.
I'm not sorry to rain on your little parade here. Ban me now please. You're intolerance and guile betray you. In contrast to the filth that this thread has suggested that I would be infracted for a "dimmie" comment is offensive.
