    I agree. Between McCain finally distancing himself from his biggoted "hate rally" crowd and this report it gives McCain the opportunity to (a) get off the failing character assassination bit and (b) pick a new VP wihtout looking too bad. That'd be some change I could get behind.

    I have read it; as you say, it's only 300 pages. Getting past an opinion written on page 8 shouldn't be too much trouble, even if it was for the media.
