Re: anyone heard of ken Bigly

You cant depend on your local news for actual news. Take today for example, every channel was covering the Sox so all the other news took a back seat. I had to watch CNN to get the info on what has blown up in Iraq lately.

If they're ordinary Americans, then it's because they're ignorant and don't pay attention to current events...

Re: anyone heard of ken Bigly

It's just so easy to miss a day's worth of news here, particularly in local news. World events go on the back pages, while local events take precidence on the front page. It's the nature of local news outlets.

I was quite suprised by how much attention was paid to the Bigley story. I am sure there have been lots of similar kidnappings in the past that were only mentioned once or twice in the news but this was headlining every paper and news story all the time he was kidnapped. I felt sorry for Blair having to refuse his family's pleas to give in to the demands.

yes it would have been so much more easy and vote winning for him to bring ken home. but the consequences of those actions dont bare thinking about.
