<movie> SAW

Has anybody else seen this moive yet? If not, I suggest going to see it. Its not a horror movie! (I hate people who discribe this movie has a "horror movie" because its not!).

If you have seen tell, what did you think of it?

Not surprising. Its not advertised a lot do to the graphic content.

I've read reviews both ways...some praise....some thought it was junk...
However...I find the plot (what I had read of) rather intriguing...looks like right up my alley...

What did you think _Ender_ ?

It was probably one of the best movies ever made.. seriously. This movie makes you think through all of it as too who is doing this, then at the end you find out that everything you thought was wrong.

What I like about it though, is the fact that it doesnt depend on the shock factor or special effects to drive the story.

I'm actually going to do a review on it. This movie has to be seen.

Q: Where would I put a movie review if I do make one? Should I just post it in this thread, or some where else?

HERE for some trailers! Certainly looks scary. "Lockjaw" was pretty freaky.

I think it is more of a psychological thriller (much like Seven) then a horror movie. There isnt a real "shock" factor to movie. Nothing really makes you scared or even jump, like some horror movies. Thats why I say its not a horror movie, there is nothing really scary in it.

'Saw' it last night..

Saying it was one of the best movies ever is one of the most exaggerated statements ever.

It was good, quite interesting, but was nowhere near the level of Se7en, which is what it was trying to emulate.

I'd give it a 6.5.

I dont think it was trying to "emulate" Se7en at all. It had the same type of style, but it wasnt trying to emulate it.

Its my opinion that this is one of the best movies ever. You gave it a 6.5, I give it more along the lines of an 8.5. The only down side to this movie is the acting is bad, but then again, its like a B movie so the acting doesnt need to be top noch.
