I'm just not sure how I feel about Mos Def playing Ford Prefect. Also, the movie is due in May, so my last visit to the theatre told me.

No, star wars was expecting 18 months post-production as of September this year, according to IMDB. I don't think it will be spring.

Doesn't look very high budget which IMHO is a good thing. I was a bit worried to see the first shots of his cottage and the pub seemed to be the same locations used for the terriable TV series. I have raised my hopes that this will be a good movie still.

We were going to go see this tonight, but things came up... Good news is that I got to play a bit of Battlefield tonight and that I got SWAT 4, too...

First review I got was "it sucked cock and bawls". I tried to be funny and capture the book, but it failed.

Just what a friend told me who saw the movie when it opened. It was surprising coming from him since he has the book memorized.

I tried to make it there this weekend as well, but had to stay home with the flu...maybe next weekend. I hope it doesn't suck balls, I've been looking forward to seeing it for a while.

Saw the new Guide movie. I thought it was pretty good and it should do well. Too many Vogons, though.

the one part I definately thought was missing was the "knack" of flying. that was iritating that it was missing.

I didn't really rate this movie. It is like when you hear someone trying to retell someone else's joke in the pub. They are saying the same things but they just aren't funny.

i saw it and thought it was pretty good. i hadn't read the book in about 2 yrs so i didn't remember all the details i'm sure they missed. but i thought it was pretty good and definitely a different type of movie then all the others that are out right now.
