Its too bad that only Americans love America.

I personnaly love the states, i live a few hours away from NYC and i go there a alot.
But its sad that the whole world don't agree with us. I get blazed at college just for saying something good about the USA. Well, I think that Canadians are not much different from Americans, we live the same way, eat the same food. We protect the same airspace with NORAD.Hell, we even share the same poor/rich gap.
Who cares if you are liberals, republican, independant or gay

We all live the same way and we are the same people.

But a month ago. Associated Press ran a poll in most of the coutry in the world and 76% of the people who answered said they disliked America. France, Spain, UK, and Canada were amongst the highest ''ranked''

oh yeah, ever been asked a question in one of these polls,

did you know that many political polls ask less than 1% of the countries involved population that question. and they only accept a yes no answer.

3 out of the 4 countries you quoted are allied with you in the war on terror,

polls can and have been wrong on several occaisions because of the lack of people involved.

i have never ever in my life been a part of a political poll, i have never been asked, yet people are always telling me 50% of these people are against this and that, how the hell do they know if i have not been asked and nor has anyone i know to date for that matter.

do not take polls like this too seriously, there are some who think what you are doing is wrong, but that does not amount to not liking you, and there are others like myself who agree, but still see things in your society i do not like.

it isnt cut and dry issue but the questions are all to often black and white. i agree with the war on terror and in iraq, i think that george bush has set the tone that we should live by, no more pussyfooting around terror, but there are certain aspects of your society i find wierd. as i suppose do most outsiders of anycountry.

i disagree with those figures based on personal experience living in one of the countries you say is highly ranked. the only people i see opposing america and are vocal about it is hippies and muslims, and i stress not all muslims. they are not representative of my nation.

well, where to start.

First, the countries are indeed allied. But it doesn't necessarely reflect the people's thought.

Second, i am aware that polls only ask a minor fraction of the population. That is why its called a poll and not a referendum.
Polls do work and it is a scientific process. MOST of the time, polls are right. And of course polls do make mistake. That is why there's something we call "error margin". But i guess you already knew that. Yes, you can argue that your nation stands fully besides bush but i guess that's why they are trying to impeach Tony Blair because of the war in iraq.

Third, it is not a personnal opinion that i'm expressing. It is a fact that i'm reporting. Like i did mention, my personnal opinon goes the opposite way.

yeah , your opinions, not facts are expressed exactly the way you judge others. you dont know me, you have no clue of my background yet you pass judgement, and therefore you portray yourself as rash and gullable.

sorry pal, any wieght you once had in this discussion has just been swept away.

you are not reporting fact, you are reporting something someone else said, secondly political parties will do whatever they can to get into power in the election year, and we are in that year now. the impeechments you talk of, are not hard to accuse but hard to prove, and they have not even been to court.
