It would be nice if all signature images were required to be hosted in one location, which hosted nothing else. This would allow browsers to block images from that host. I see no signatures on this forum ever. Go to UserCP (top left) > Edit Options. A few sections down there is a checkbox to not show signatures. Voila!

I've used that before.

It's limiting and I was just brainstorming on an idea that would offer people an option they don't presently have.

The ideal max size is however big it would have to be to make a one-line post be the precise size of your contact information over on the left, and no bigger.

That contact info stuff doesn't really shrink or grow save for avatars, and avatars are kind enough to have a size limit.
