Re: Michael Moore's Freedom Fighters

Lets see

"Jeeze dude, I get it. Thanks for going off for a freakin page defending Michael Moore and explaining logic to me."

"Huh? Was I supposed to sit at the knee of ender and soak in your lecture with admiration for your wisdom and grace?"

You were being an ass about it just because I disagreed with you. You started the disrespecting first. I just was calling it like I see it.. and being an ass myself, its really easy to spot our own kind.

Quote:
He said it. Not me. So when his Minutemen strap a bomb onto a retarded child, why is it totally out of line for me to remember his categorization of these people, and why are you so defensive about it?
Because I dont see where Moore said it was ok for them to strap bombs onto retarded children. He said they were freedom fighters, thats it. You're saying all this other stuff and slapping his name on it.

Re: Michael Moore's Freedom Fighters

ender, you didn't win. leejo makes a VERY good point. your stuff really sounds like you're defending michael moore. okay, so he considers the terrorists as "freedom fighters," if he thinks like that, fine...even though that's just something i'll never agree in.

Like I said in earlier threads: Michael Moore is a anti-American Canadian who wants us to think that he's some kind of "Patriot" trying to enlighten us.

Re: Michael Moore's Freedom Fighters

If I had called you a name ender, like "ass" for example, I think most people would agree that it would be a classy move on my part to apologize.

When I made the statements you quoted, I was commenting on the ideas you proposed and the tone you used, but I'm pretty sure that I have never called you an ass or any other name. If I have then I apologize.

Re: Michael Moore's Freedom Fighters

If you believe the job of the Government is to protect freedom above all else: then Saddam broke the social contract and needed to be removed.

If you believe the job of the Government is to establish and maintain order: then Saddam had every right to stay in power.

Like they say: "Don't dicuss Politics or Religion in good company."

Re: Michael Moore's Freedom Fighters

How do you know my tone? Can you here me typing? The fact is you have no idea what I meant.. for all you know I could be cracking up laughing at this... which I am.

And please dont try to make me be the bad guy in this. You said that he was an *******, yet again, because he called them freedom fighters, and then made up this whole big thing about how he said that because of that, he, anybody who agrees with them, must think its ok for them to use retarded children as weapons. Which he didnt say. He gave the opinion of them being freedom fighters, but never said anything about children being used a bombs. The fact is, this had nothing at all to do with Moore, yet you put him into it to try to prove some stupid point. Yes, Moore is an idiot, yes Moore is anti-american, yes, Moore is a lieing ahole. But he doesnt need your help proving any of that by tossing him into something that he actually had nothing to do with. Big deal, he made an opinion on them. That opinion doesnt give you the right to attack him on something he actually didnt say (that it was ok for them to sure children as bombs). Thats why I posted to defend him (defended used very lossly). I thought it was kind of pathetic of you to try to connect Moore's views on what they are. to them using a kid as a bomb.

I apologize for call you an ass also. I, like you, was trying to be a smart ass. I guess I dont have the magical "getting the tone of somebody over the internet" power that you seem to have.

The only way anyone here is going to know what you mean is through the written word. If you can not express what you mean via this method, being the only method available here, maybe you should re-think your approach.

If people can't understand what you meant, it's not their fault.

For the record, Michael Moore was born in Davison, Michigan.

Look, the title of this thread is a dig at Moore's continued anti-American/anti-freedom opinions. We just saw 8 million Iraqis participate in their first election in five decades. Moore insists on comparing terrorist suicide bombers to the patriots that led the American Revolution. In doing so, he is comparing people that (as the article just showed us) would sacrifice retarded juveniles to terrorize innocent people with minutemen that were fighting the greatest army in existence at the time. If you don't see how wrong that is, then I don't know what to tell you.

These terrorists are scum, not patriots of any sort. I fully support any chance to demonstrate how horribly wrong Moore is in this regard...
