We all know Roman numerals.
I = 1 V = 5 X = 10 This statement: IX + VI = 11 can be made true by moving one and only one line from one place in the expression to another. The rules:
One of my professors had this as a standing riddle and if you solved it you could take off an hour early. It was up for for almost 4 weeks. (Even though it takes 3 lines to draw an "I", it only counts as 1.) |
