gameing community name suggestion - Page 3

thx guys ,we went with nucleargamers.com...not up yet i'll let ya know when i finish the site.i need a slogan though,i was thinking blowing away the gaming community.or something cheesy like that.

I would suggest writing a "mission statement" for your community before names and slogans. Everything else must follow from that.

e.g.

It used to be called Network 42 and have the url www.xlii.com. IMO that was much cooler, but it was also confusing and undescriptive.

well,our "mission" is to provide a fun and friendly enviornment as well as information on anything games,is there any other reason for a gameing community?I guess i thought that was obvious.

Adjectives for an experience don't come much more subjective than "fun". Consider words in your mission statement (I agree it should come first, and certainly before a name) which are easily measurable.

The same argument could be made for "mature," which has been called into question many times here (I'm not saying they were legitimate questionings, but they still happened).

I guess i overlooked this aspect becouse my vision is clear and i didn't stop to think that it should be pointed out.I guess in the end the community,if it ever gets that far,will layout it's own mission.I intend to be fair in judgement and patient,helpfull and welcoming.i've ran a few servers and clans and feel i hold myself to the highest standard's in fairness and objectivity.I have a vision adn am not going into this blind,i hope that will come out in the end.Was there a mission in that mess?i hope so,lol.thx guys.
